2.)      Have you ever checked YOUR official ICAAN (Internet Corporation for Assigned
Names and Numbers) Domain Name listing ?    You Should ! 

Are  YOU listed with YOUR complete Name, Address, Phone Number, and
“Permanent Email address” , as the:  Registrant Contact, Administrative,  Billing,
and  Technical Contact.   Or did your  Web Designer or ISP just  list their company 
for all contacts, and not even tell YOU ?  Some unscrupulous Registrars leave the
domain in their account which means that YOU DO NOT OWN the Domain, they do.     

This information is crucial to your Domain Name  Identity.  This is where the 
Registrar will email you 30 days prior to your account expiration date a renewal

One reason this could have occurred is that your Host DNS was not on line at that specific
 instant.  That is why ICAAN requires hosts to have a  minimum of 2 DNS redundant servers
 posting your information to the Internet that must be continuously  available 24/7.  Another
reason could be your server “timed out” meaning it was to slow to serve the information
up to the web, or too far from the internet backbone.
